Finding a Rhythm

Sometimes I forget that all the people around me have their own lives😂. I live my life, interact with people, and just move on, forgetting that others also move on with their lives. Just because I know what they are doing for that 1 hr zoom call each week or a quick check-in over the weekend, does not mean I know what they are doing the rest of their day. Which for some reason, is a concept that still doesn't come naturally to me. But the amazing part is that it is really mind blowing when I get to hear what everybody else is doing along with what I know they are doing. That's the magic for me at Care for Them: feeling proud of what the peeps around me are doing, excited for all the journeys our multi-faceted team will embark on, and honored to interact with such incredible, impactful teammates.


We've really come a long way and have experienced so many interested problems and obstacles to solve and hurdle. It's been a learning experience for all of us. So it's reasonable to predict there are more difficulties to come, but you can always remember - "WE are Groot"!

  1. Free Up Sunday 1:30 PM to do a fun in person meeting!

  2. Creating a CFT revision plan for the curric

  3. Email Hopkins Professors (finding mentors) + Health/Education Professionals

  4. Research Funding Opportunities

  5. Brainstorm Intro Video

  1. Sending Emails to Professionals (Operational Team)

    1. We'll be sending emails to professionals to brainstorm more applicational scenarios + revising the curriculum

  2. Formulating Course Agenda Revision Plan (Operational Team)

    1. Creating easy view, revisable doc for our team to use

    2. What is this?

      1. Idea is to pair people in a team to review sections of the course agenda

  3. Individual Check-ins about the curric - 7/8 (Operational Team)

  4. Sending emails to Hopkins Public Health professors - looking for advisors! (Admin Team)

    1. Emailing at least 25 professors by 7/1

  5. Finishing up new Team Structure (Admin Team)

  6. Looking into Funding and recording some feasible ones (Admin Team)

  7. Uploading an edited recording of the event, Dr. Meilin Young: Mythbusters (Admin Team)

  8. Finding more Coords?? - 7/8 (Admin Team)

  9. Sending out E-forms for peeps to fill out (Admin Team)

  10. Brainstorm Care for Them Intro Video (Relations Team)

  11. Create content calendar for July (Relations Team)
